The Ohio State University’s football team has jumped from the 4th best team in the nation to the 2nd, according to the associated press. With an impressive 3-0 start, it will be interesting to see what this team can accomplish.

The Ohio State University football team may be the most talented it has ever been, with football season expectations set high as they walloped bowling green 77-10 in their home opener, with quarterback J.T. Barrett looking impressive.

Following that up by a 48-3 pounding of Tulsa. Experts such as ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit expect a second place finish in the American Conference for Tulsa behind the currently No. 6 Houston Cougars, potential playoff contenders.

With the beat down on the 17th, a cocky Oklahoma team who’s backup Quarterback Austin Kendall said “Baker Mayfield (starting quarterback) will light up Ohio State’s pretty basic defense. Ohio State may have not liked that judging by the 45-24 score put up by a “basic team” or by their actions after the victory. 

Oklahoma, now  1-2, suffered their other loss to aforementioned Houston, 6 in the country, while Ohio State has jumped to No. 2. Ohio State is now well rested coming off there bye week and will play Rutgers on Saturday.
