Tim Tebow is popularly known for playing football for the Florida Gators, taking home two national championship titles with their program, and winning the Heisman trophy in 2007.  However, Tebow currently plays baseball professionally for the New York Mets organization.

Tebow got drafted to the National Football League in the first round to the Denver Broncos as the 25th overall pick.  He played in the NFL from 2010 to 2015 and played for four different teams; the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles.  Due to his very short career in the NFL, he had very little playing time.  His most memorable moment was winning a first round playoff game in his first playoff start in the 2010 season.  Now that Tebow has come to the end of his football career he has decided to pursue a dream of playing professional baseball.

A tryout was held for Tebow to showcase his skills in front of numerous MLB scouts. On September 19th, he was signed by the New York Mets and he began his professional baseball career in the fall instructional league.  In his first game at the professional level he hit a homerun!  Unfortunately, Tebow’s season just ended in the Arizona Fall League he did not succeed very well.

Tim Tebow is the only NFL quarterback to be an Adidas spokesperson, NFL analyst, and an professional baseball player.  The athlete’s most memorable years were as a college football star but you could say he will go down as someone who never gives up, a team player, and a legend.
