  • Attention 11th-grade students: Your PSAT score reports and test booklets are available for pickup in the School Counseling Office!  Please stop by and see Mrs. Dow for a copy, if you have not already done so.
  • The next French club will be meeting on Thursday, February 14 in room 136 after school. Come and celebrate valentine’s day with games, crafts, food, and more! See officers for any questions
  • Tickets are now on sale for the Thomas Worthington main stage musical CHILDREN OF EDEN. This joyous and inspiring musical celebrates the difficulty of choice, the importance of passion, the value of questioning, and the pain in allowing those you love to take risks and face the consequences. This musical takes the biblical stories of Genesis and presents them through the personal lens of family. Children of Eden will go up on Friday 2/22 and Saturday 2/23. Both shows are at 8pm, and the box office opens at 7pm each night of the show. Tickets are $15. Please visit for more information.
  • This Wednesday there will be a PURPOSE meeting! Don’t Miss it! It will be right after school in our Library. Transportation is available upon request, so see Dr. Carr to reserve a seat. The meeting will start at 3:15 pm. And, as always, we will host an exciting and motivating guest! Come and be inspired for greatness!!
  • The boys volleyball team has open gym from 6-8 PM every Sunday in the Main Gym.  Come join Worthington’s fastest growing sport!
  • Still interested in travelling to Scandinavia with your TWHS classmates this summer? Well, you’re in luck because there is still time to enroll! All interested travelers must be enrolled by February 15th. Stop by room 122 to see Ms. VanFossen for more information.
  • The COMTO Columbus Scholarship is now being offered to students who express an interest in pursuing college studies in a transportation related field. Information on the scholarship can be found at after clicking apply at the bottom of the page.  Applications are due by March 15. Paperwork can be picked up in Central office.
  • The 2019 B. Davis Scholarship is now being offered by the creators of the “Student Award Search Aid” website. The deadline for applications is May 24, 2019. The amount of Scholarship is $1,000. For more information and  to learn more about applying for the scholarship visit  
  • Sports  
    • Competing at the Milesplit SPIRE Showcase on Sunday, the Cardinals established new personal records!
    • Gia Napoleon ran the 800 meter for the first time this season, established a new indoor PR of 2:09.12 for a new #1 and is currently ranked #4 in the NATION! She is currently ranked #1 in the state and #19 in the nation.  
    • Carina Napoleon dropped three more seconds in the 800 meter for a time of 2:10.25 to finish behind Gia and is currently ranked #2 in the state and #7 NATIONALLY.
    • The girls’ 4 x 800 meter relay of Lydia Miller, Tori Banks, Carina Napoleon, and Gia Napoleon ran the relay for the second time of the season to improve by six seconds, 9:20.06, won the Milesplit/SPIRE Showcase, remain ranked state #1 and are now #7 NATIONALLY.
    • Lydia Miller is currently ranked #9 in the state.
    • The girls’ 4 x 400 meter relay of Carina, Gia, and sophomores Jada Stephens and Jazmine Rogers is currently ranked #5 in the state.
