- Want to join the Cards For Kids Program?
Thomas Worthington High School students involved in the Cards For Kids Program serve as mentors to elementary school students. The Cards For Kids Program provides a way to use the talents and skills of teens as role models to younger children and be supportive to teachers in the classroom. Other programs like this have shown that elementary students increase their self-confidence and gain a more positive attitude toward school after spending time with a high school mentor. This is also an enjoyable way for high school students to provide a valuable service to their community. If you are interested in joining this program, stop by the counseling office and pick up an application. - Like Democracy? Like the idea of making some cash on a day off from school?
