• What’s your favorite scary movie? If this is a question to which you would have a lot to say then you should probably join this week’s Film Club meeting in room A123 after school on Thursday. We will discuss the best movies for the Halloween season,and more. It is bound to be a “Scream”ing good time!

• Hey cards, clear out your closet before winter by donating your gently used warm weather gear to support families in need. Donations will be gladly accepted by each of your homeroom teachers, competing for the reward of donuts for the class who collects the most! Thank you for supporting coats for a cause! 
• Girls basketball tryouts grades 9-12 begin this Friday October 24th 345-6pm. You must have everything turned in to final forms to tryout. Contact Coach Morgan at [email protected] with any questions!

• Looking for a way to improve your performance skills? Want a low-pressure environment to build your acting confidence? Want to learn how sketch comedy shows write material? Check out Improv Club! • Attention Juniors and Seniors: If you would like to take the ACT, the December 13 ACT will be offered at Thomas Worthington. You are encouraged to register early as spaces are limited. Go to ACT.org for more registration information.
• Did you know Thomas Worthington has a Girl’s Wrestling team?  We do, and we need girls of all sizes to fill out our roster!  Girl’s wrestling is only in its second year at Thomas Worthington, so no experience is necessary, as EVERYONE is new! Girl’s Wrestling is the fastest growing sport in America, and we are holding some try-it-out days after school every Tuesday and Thursday during October in the Auxiliary Gym, so girls can see what it’s all about with NO commitment. Also, learn more about Girl’s Wrestling at a very brief informational meeting Monday, October 27th, in the Cards Center immediately after school. That is Monday, October 27th in the Cards Center, immediately after school, to learn about Girls Wrestling.

Playing chess can greatly improve your cognitive abilities, enhance tactical thinking skills, boost strategic creativity, and create a socializing and fun environment! The Cardinal Chess Club offers an excellent opportunity to engage in the strategy and tactics of the game. Join us weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:15 in Room A207. If you’re interested and want to be part of the Cardinal Chess Club, please stop by Room A207 after school on Tuesdays. It will start today, October 21.
