Annie has been in America about a year. She came to America to study and get a good education because in her country education is not as good as here. She came to America with her two brothers
and her sister. She lives here with her uncle and her siblings. Her mother helped her and her siblings with the money to come to America. Her uncle offered himself to take care of them in America. She came on a plane with her siblings and she explained that it was hard because she did not know anything about America and she was scared because she had never been on a plane before.
Annie felt like the kids in school were not going to like her because she does not speak the same language. She likes America because homes are better. She cannot get used to American food. She likes school here because the teachers are nice.
