Announcements for Wednesday, January 22nd

  • Sushi will be available on Friday for $7.00. It can be purchased at any register and picked up by the coffee shop
  • The Thomas Worthington Trivia Team will be competing on Television on Monday January 27, please see Mr. Keith Day for more details.
  • Any students looking for community service hours please see Ms. Starks in the counseling office.
  • The Thomas Worthington High School Choirs will be performing a concert in collaboration with the Evening Street Elementary fourth and fifth-grade choirs on January 23, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. titled “We Do Not Stand Alone”. Dr. Lynn Brickmeyer will be the guest conductor/clinician, from Texas State University. Dr. Brinckmeyer is a published author and has performed globally-this is sure to be a memorable moment for the Worthington Community. We hope to see you all at the concert at 7:00 pm in the TWHS Auditorium. It is going to be an awesome concert, and you will not want to miss it. The Concert is Free!
  • The TWHS Talent Show is here! At 7pm tonight, the Evening show will take place. There will be singing, impersonations, dancing, and more! Students and staff – FREE w/ID; $3 for everyone else.  Attendees will each receive a ballot to vote for favorite acts; the top acts will to move on to perform for the student body during 3A/3B on Friday, January 24.That’s right – the day show is this Friday! Tickets will be on sale for the 3B performance starting Wednesday before school! Talk to your 3rd period teacher about buying a ticket in class!
  • There will not be a Community Service meeting today. We will meet next week and take the club photo for yearbook.
  • Auditions for CARRIE THE MUSICAL will be held on Sunday January 26th at 2pm. Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes to move in. These auditions are open to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. If you have any questions please see Mr. Nawman.
  • Attention Seniors: Graduation is just around the corner.  Make sure to order your cap and gown. The final deadline to submit your order is January 31st to ensure delivery of your cap and gown in the spring.
