Announcements for Wednesday, January 29th

  • Please plan to attend the Thomas Worthington Black History Month program, Thursday, February 6th at 7:00 p.m., in the auditorium. You don’t want to miss this exciting inspirational program!!
  • The cold weather must mean that Winter Formal is right around the corner! We’re ringing in the 2020s by throwing it back to the 1920s with our theme, “Frozen in Time!” The dance is Saturday, Feb. 1st, from 8:30 to 11:00 in the TWHS main gym. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday and can be purchased through the Local Level Events site. You can also purchase tickets in the cafeteria during your lunch periods on Wednesday and Friday. Tickets start at $10, but prices increase as we get closer to the event, so buy them early!
  • NHS applications are due THIS Friday, January 31st by 3:05 pm. Part I should be submitted to Google Classroom and part II should be turned into Ms. VanFossen in room 122. LATE applications will not be considered. 
  • The Pizza Club is meeting today in room 274 at 3:10.  Help us choose the pizza we will be evaluating, and eating, this year.  Check out the flyers around the school and use the QR code. See you there! 
  • Attention seniors! If the colleges you applied to require a midyear transcript, please stop into the School Counseling Office and request your transcript to be sent. Please check the school’s website or your college account to verify if a midyear transcript needs to be sent. Counselors will send your new transcript upon receiving your request. Questions?   • Attention Seniors: Graduation is just around the corner.  Make sure to order your cap and gown. The final deadline to submit your order is January 31st to ensure the delivery of your cap and gown in the spring.
