Announcements for August 29, 2022

  • There will be a theatre meeting after school on August 30th until 4:00pm! This meeting is for any new student who would like to be involved in theatre, and students who are in the after school theatre class. We will discuss upcoming theatre events, how to get involved, auditions, and more. If you can be there please attend, if you cannot see Nawman or a Thespian officer later that week.
  • The Cardinal Theatre will open the 22-23 season with Picasso at the Lapin Agile (pronounced LAH-PAN AEH-GEEL). Picasso at the Lapin Agile is an absurdist comedy that looks at what would happen if Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein met at a bar in Paris before they made their breakthroughs in art and science. Picasso at the Lapin Agile will run Sept 15th 16th and 17th at 8pm. Please visit www.twhstheatre.org to purchase tickets.
  • The first G.S.A. meeting of the year is happening THIS TUESDAY, August 30th. G.S.A. stands for Gender Sexuality Alliance and it’s a club for LGBTQ+ students and allies to meet and hang out. Throughout the year we watch movies, play games, and participate in LGBTQ+ events throughout our community. We even go to an exclusive Ohio GSA prom for free at the end of the year! During this meeting, we’ll be deciding what events we want to participate in throughout the year so if you want a say now’s the time. The meeting will be happening Tuesday, August 30th in room 239 after school until 5:00. Be there!
  • FRESHMEN: Do you want to lead your class and school? Do you want to play a major role in shaping and carrying out some of the biggest events at TWHS? Do you want to help have a positive impact on our community? Then you should run to be a part of the Freshman Class Student Council! Applications and more information can be found in Mrs. Davidson’s room (126). Class Officer and Representative Applications are due by 9/7. See Mrs. Davidson in room 126 with any questions!
