  • Attention Seniors! The 2022 Election is just over a month away. For many of you, this will be the first time to vote. For all of you, this will be the first time to serve as a Poll Worker. Are you interested in supporting our Democracy and getting an inside look at how our elections work? Are you interested in making over $150 for a days work? Then you should sign up for Youth at the Booth! The deadline to apply is September 20th. See Mr. Duffy in room 120 or at [email protected] for more information.
  • The French club will be having a meeting on Tuesday, September 20th after school in room 136. Even if you don’t speak French you are welcome to join us.
  • The Diversity Club will meet Friday, September 23rd, 5th period, in room 127.  This club offers a safe place for all students to find ways to be more engaged in the school community, to share your culture with others, and to find ways to share your culture with the school.  The Diversity Club would like to hear your voices, your ideas, and your concerns as we continue to make Thomas reflect the faces in our hallways.
  • Join Worthington Field Studies next summer for a month-long camping adventure in the Pacific Northwest. Earn a credit in Field Ecology while exploring nature by hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, and whale watching.  For more information and to access the WFSI website, scan the QR code on one of the posters in the hallways or see any science teacher.
  • Everyone’s been asking, and the wait is OVER! The first Brunch Club meeting will be held Tuesday, September 20th at 7:45am in room 246. Come learn all about the club and get your ticket to EAT at the next meeting. Stop by room 246 and ask Mrs. Belcher/Ward any questions you have, or check out the posters hanging in the school. We can’t wait to kick off T-Dub’s newest, hottest club! Come brunch with us!
  • There will be a Chemistry Club meeting on Thursday, September 22nd at 3:15 pm in room 177.  We will be making chem club shirts, so please bring a blank shirt with you.
  • ALL Boys planning to tryout for Boys Basketball this fall, there will be a player meeting on Monday, September 26th at 8pm.  This will be right before open gym that night.  All players grades 9 through 12, including fall sport athletes should plan to attend. We will discuss tryout dates, final forms, the rest of the fall schedule, expectations, etc.  The meeting should only last about 15 minutes prior to open gym.  When the meeting is over, fall sport athletes may leave. See Coach Luzader in Room 234 or 237 with any questions.
