On February 17th, 18th, & 19th the TWHS Theatre Department will present SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL in the Hottenroth auditorium!

Have you ever been interested in learning more about the Bible? If the answer is yes, I’m shocked! But while the Bible may seem like a boring old book, it’s actually a lot more interesting than you think. If you want to take a deeper dive into the Christian faith come join the Thomas Worthington Bible study every Tuesday right after school in room 270! Whether you are a practicing Christian or just simply curious to learn more, we can’t wait to see you there!

The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.”Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged but Horton, Jojo, and the Who’s emerge triumphant.

Seniors! Time is running out. Submit your senior picture to the yearbook by TOMORROW January 31st to make sure it is included. Check your class schoology page on how to submit.

Hey Cards, our next Blood Drive will be held on Friday, February 10th. Time slots are available from 7:30 to 1:30. You can sign up by scanning a poster in the hall or by seeing a student council member in the student council window across from the aviary. Ask a student council member for more details.”

Are you going to take Social Media and Marketing or Photography next year? Maybe you will take CommTech and Journalism and be the one making this announcement next year? All students in grades 9-11 will need to bring their chromebook this coming Wednesday, February 1. You will register for your 2023-24 classes during second period. If you do not have a second period class, you should go to the library. There will be some counselors in there ready to help you register. There are course registration resources for you – check Schoology “class of” page. All current seniors will have a senior meeting in the auditorium during period 2A on Wednesday, February 1.

Our next Brunch Club meeting of the year will be TOMORROW Tuesday, January 31st at 7:45AM in Room 246. You must have come to the first meeting if you want to come to the second one. If one of your resolutions was to get more involved or try something new this year, then Brunch Club is for you! First-timers are ALWAYS welcome.

Have you ever wondered how to join the Flock Talk crew?! Well, the easy solution is to enroll in both Communications Technology One and Two. In Comm Tech One, students gain experience and skills with camera recording operation and learn the basics of camera work, equipment, and video editing. In Comm Tech Two, students are responsible for creating our Friday Flock Talk show, where students plan, record, edit, and produce the stories you see each week. And it’s repeatable!
Both of these courses are a semester-long so if you are interested in being a part of Flock Talk next year, make sure to put Communication Technology One and Two on your schedule during registration.

Winter Formal is February 4th at 8pm. Go to your class Schoology page to access tickets and guest forms for the dance.
