- HR Imaging will be here on Friday, October 11th from 8:00am – 3:00pm to take pictures for any student who has not had their picture taken for a student ID or any student who would like a picture retake. Pictures will be taken by the main entrance.
- This year’s student-athlete meeting for WINTER sports will be Thursday, October 10th at 3:30 in the gym. Bring your student ID so we can scan you in. If you have played a Fall Sport, you have already attended for the year and do NOT need to attend. If you cannot attend for any reason, notify the head coach for your sport and they will arrange a time for you to watch the meeting on video and verify your attendance. The meeting will be finished by 4 pm.
- Join the Cardinal Theatre for our next production: The Survivor. A gripping story of friendship, bravery and survival. This play is about a group of Jewish teenagers living in the ghetto of Warsaw, Poland during WWII, and their resistance to the brutality of the Nazis as they work to smuggle food over the fence to provide for their friends and families. Our performances are on October 10th, 11th, 12th (Thursday-Saturday), at 7:30 pm at Kilbourne Middle School. Tickets will go on sale Monday, October 7th at noon. We hope to see you there!
- Future Medical Professionals Club Update: Tuesday October 15th 8-8:30am in room 206 we will host guest speaker Natalie Bennett, Advanced Practice Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife. Join us to hear more about education and career options in nursing and women’s health at this meeting.
- The Calm Cafe will be hosted monthly in the LEM room 269 during all lunch periods. It will be a calm and relaxing space for students to eat lunch outside the cafeteria. We will have some games, bracelet-making, fidgets, and other calming activities available. Lunch will not be provided, so students will need to bring their own.
- Invitations to join the TWHS National Honor Society have been sent to eligible juniors and seniors. The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization, established to recognize outstanding high school students. As more than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Use the Schoology Access code sent to your invitation email to get all the information. A brief meeting in A133 will be held on Oct. 15 at 8:00.
