- Congratulations to the marching band who performed this weekend at Ohio State University’s Buckeye Invitational and earned a superior rating!
The marching band also performed at the Maysville Band-A-Palooza earning Best Auxiliary, Best Visual, Best General Effect, and Grand Champion. Junior, Corbyn Champ, earned second place in the ice cream eating contest that followed the performances.

Owen CunninghamThe Cardinals’ Cross-Country teams are moving on to the District Championship this Saturday, October 19th, at Hilliard Darby. The boys race at 2:00 p.m., and the girls race at 4:30 p.m.
- Future Medical Professionals Club Update: Tuesday October 15th 8-8:30am in room 206 we will host guest speaker Natalie Bennett, Advanced Practice Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife. Join us to hear more about education and career options in nursing and women’s health at this meeting.
- The Calm Cafe will be hosted monthly in the LEM room 269 during all lunch periods. It will be a calm and relaxing space for students to eat lunch outside the cafeteria. We will have some games, bracelet-making, fidgets, and other calming activities available. Lunch will not be provided, so students will need to bring their own.
- Invitations to join the TWHS National Honor Society have been sent to eligible juniors and seniors. The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization, established to recognize outstanding high school students. As more than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Use the Schoology Access code sent to your invitation email to get all the information. A brief meeting in A133 will be held on Oct. 15 at 8:00.
