Construction is finishing up at Thomas Worthington High School and with the a new building comes a new cafeteria, The new cafeteria shows noticeable Improvements such as better food, Better working conditions, and a bigger all around area with Staff all in agreement that the new Cafeteria is a major upgrade from the old one.
Sarah Royse, who has been a member of the Thomas Worthington Cafeteria staff for two years says that she liked the new cafeteria more than the old one and she appreciates that there is more space, and more food options available for the students, more space also makes their job easier Royce said that she really likes all the new prep spaces and she appreciates that there is more storage that makes it easier to organize all the supplies and ingredients effectively. They now have enough space for a dish washer which speeds up the cleaning process and makes their jobs a lot easier.
Another thing that is sped up is the cooking process because during construction the food was cooked off location and transported to the high school making things more complicated and by eliminating that step they are able to more efficiently and effectively cook the food making it fresher and also helping it taste better with more consistency in the cooking process.
Overall the new cafeteria brings a fresh new look to the new building at Thomas Worthington High School the new cafeteria brings more space, better equipment, more fresh and better tasting food options with Michelle Pezzot a member of the Thomas Worthington staff for nearly two decades Saying that she feels it is “Awesome” she also mentioned that the students now have more food options and better quality food options.
