Announcements for May 3, 2021

  • The next Diversity Club meeting will be Wednesday, May 5th in room 235 during 5th period. May is Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Worthington School Board member, Sam Shim, will join us to speak about recent incidents of Asian Hate and different activities happening in Columbus to combat them.
  • Calling all Seniors! Starting on today, a senior banner will be put outside at the West End to celebrate the graduating class of 2021! You don’t want to miss it, so stop by and take a photo or two. We encourage you to share your senior banner photos on social media using #itsworthit or emailing your photos to [email protected], so we can all celebrate and recognize the amazing students that make up this year’s senior class. Congratulations to the class of 2021! We wish you all the best and can’t wait to see the great things you’ll accomplish!
  • There will be a brief meeting after school on today for any girls interested in playing golf next fall. We will meet in Coach Hopkins’ room, room 221, for 15-20 minutes to discuss spring and summer activities.
  • Attention Sophomores and Juniors: The Freshmen Mentor Application for the 2021-22 school year is now open!  If you are a current sophomore or junior in good academic standing with outstanding leadership skills who works well with others, consider applying. Application information can be found on the Class of 2022 and Class of 2023 Schoology pages. Applications and teacher recommendations are due by Monday May 10th at 3:05 pm.
